Directions from M62/M6
From the M62, finding the LMI is straightforward.
At the end of the M62 follow the signs for the City Centre, Cathedrals and Universities (approx 3 miles).
On coming down Brownlow Hill past the rear of the Metropolitan Cathedral (‘the wigwam’), turn left at the traffic lights onto Clarence Street then left at the next traffic lights onto Mount Pleasant. The LMI is opposite the front of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Continue through the traffic lights outside the LMI and turn almost immediately right by the Lloyds TSB into Arrad Street. The car park and entrance are through the gates on the right.
By Train:
The nearest mainline train station is Liverpool Lime Street Station, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk or 5 minute cab drive from the LMI. The position of the station is marked on the map below:
